Project: Kishogue Train Station Glazing Replacement

Client: Cumnor Construction

This was a particularly challenging project that required close coordination with both Cumnor Construction and Iarnród Éireann to ensure the works were completed safely and efficiently.

Due to the size and weight of the glazing units, the glass could not be manually transported onto the station concourse. Instead, all units had to be lifted into position by crane onto the concourse area before being manoeuvred into place using a spider crane.

The project also required possession of the railway line during night-time hours, as the glazing units needed to be lifted above the railway line at the rear of the building. Careful planning, strict safety procedures, and coordinated access management allowed the project to be completed successfully with minimal disruption to rail operations.
